I began my journey as a photographer during a specialized art and design program in high school. I quickly fell in love with the process of photography, and spent half of my senior year in the dark room doing independent study photo projects. Since that time, I have received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder, in photography and art history. I have worked extensively with traditional silver gelatin printing, alternative dark room methods, and digital photography. I currently work exclusively with digital, and learning to post-process on a computer has allowed me to fall in love with a new aspect of photography.

I am passionate about my work, and am thrilled to be able to share in so many significant moments in the lives of my clients. As a member of both Professional Photographers of America and Mile High Photographers, I have access to and regularly attend workshops and webinars to keep up-to-date with my education. I have a well-trained, artistic eye for composition and color, and I love to play with my camera and try new creative ideas. When I am not working, I can often be found reading, running, knitting, or watching movies with my husband and our two cats.
